Funeral Service for Winfield Jackson, 56, of Dumas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2023. Service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel, 738 East Oakland Street, Monticello, AR; Officiating Minister is Pastor D. S. Jackson of Mitchellville, Arkansas.

Winfield was the son of the late Jasper Jackson, Sr. and Magnolia Blackshire Jackson. He was born November 20, 1966 in Dumas, Arkansas.

He attended Dumas Public Schools until relocating to Detroit, Michigan where he completed his education in the Detroit Public Schools. He did further study at Wayne County Community College, Detroit.

He and his wife, Deborah, were active members of Triumph Non-Denominational Church in Detroit, Michigan. After moving back to Dumas, he was formerly employed at SAF Holland as a welder fabricator.

Winfield passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, at JRMC in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Nicole Jackson and Porsche Jackson of Detroit, Michigan; step-mother, Mrs. Bobbie Jackson of Dumas; five brothers, Leadell (Cynthia) Owens of Kansas City, MO, Howard Wayne Owens and Glendale Randle both of Detroit, Michigan, Aaron (Terri) Jackson and James Jackson of Pine Bluff; three sisters, Jean (Dan) Moore of Chicago, Illinois, Linda (Bailey) Austin of Dumas, and Bettye (Nathaniel) Jones of Monticello; two aunts, Maxine Coney and Dorothy Walton of Pine Bluff; one uncle, Robert Blackshire (Rosetta) of Waxahachie, Texas; and a special cousin, Ruby Gill of Dumas. Three grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
