In Loving Memory of Willie "Bilbo" Walker Jr. Home going services held Sunday, December 31, 2017 1:00 P.M. Second Baptist Church 719 Luna Street Lake Village, AR 71653 Pastor Robert C. Walker, Officiating | Sister Adrian Clark, Mistress of Ceremony Willie (Bilbo) Walker, Jr. was the last child of 7 born to Willie Walker and Azlean Walker on February 1, 1930 in Lake Village. He confessed a hope in Christ at the age of 15 and united with the St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Jennie, AR Mr. Walker attended school at Central and performed many domestic jobs with the US Corp of Engineer and the Chicot County Road Department, but his main love and focus was farming and agriculture. He was very outspoken and had no problem expressing how he felt. On Oct. 9, 1949 Willie married Annie Walker, who preceded him in death. Mr. Walker departed this life on Monday, Dec. 25, 2017 at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. Along with his wife, the following family members preceded him in death: Aaron (son), Azlean (mother), Willie (father), (5) brothers: William and Albert McKinney, Jonnie Davis, Wade Smith, Wycellar Walker, and (1) sister, Rosa Lee Royal. Left to cherish his memory: 13 beautiful children, Larry Walker of Chicago, Patricia (Welvin) Davies of Lake Village, Annie (Floyd) Brown of Eudora, Billie (Sandra) Walker of Jenner, CA; Judy (Evernia) Watkins and Curtis (Laura Ann) Wilson of Little Rock, Sharon (Charles) Lambert of Dallas, Latoya Greenlee of Dermott, DeLesia Binion of Cleveland, OH. Mr. Walker will also be missed by (4) sisters-in-law: Mary McKinney of Olive Branch, MS; Gloria Booth of Chicago, IL, Mattie Lee Owens of Rowland Heights, CA; Doshia Booth of China Hills, CA; Almeta Rowell of Alexander, AR, and (2) brothers-in-law: Clearance Booth of Pine Bluff, Adell Booth of Chicago; (1) daughter-in-law, Linda Walker of Arlington, TX and a speical friend, Gracy Lewis. There are 32 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
