Waffer Lee (Canada) Canada

Waffer Lee "Tee Tee" Canada, 88, of Monticello, AR was born February 20, 1932 to the parents of Henry Canada and Luella Holmes of Cominto, Arkansas. She went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2020.

Her Mother, Father, Dotsie Canada, Sister and Hurley Mack, Step-Father (who raised her) all preceded her in death.

Waffer worked at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and Burlington Industries for over 30 years combined. She and her sister work every job together and lived together all of their lives. Waffer had a passion for her church , Gethesmenae AME Church and the AME Conference. She was a member of the Junior Woman Civic Club and cared for the elderly until her health began to fail. She was well loved in Monticello and throughout the community.

She leaves to cherish her memory her nephew, Gerald (Hilda) Canada of Bryant, AR; her great nieces Amber Canada of Brunswick, GA and Brittney (Blake) Brooks of Gastonia, NC and great newphew, Johnathan Dismuke-Canada of Little Rock, AR; her three great-great nieces/nephew, Carter, Austin and Dylan Brooks of Gastonia, NC and her four special special friends Matilda Jordan, Teretha Ollison, Nancy Williams and Berdie James all of Monitcello, along with numerous loving cousins and friends.

Special thanks to The Guest House, formerly in Warren, AR; Drew Memorial Hospital and The Woods Nursing Home who provided her with loving , excellent care.
