Gwendolyn Armour, Mistress of Ceremony Tessie Lee Gantt Freeman was born March 25, 1964 to the late Dorothy Harden and the late James Harden Sr. She departed this life Dec. 24, 2017 at her home. Tessie was a 1982 graduate of Lakeside High School. She was a licensed CNA for over 10 years with Home Health. She loved her family and friends. It was a joy to be around her. She was a kind, living and caring person. Tessie Lee is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Harden and one son Edward Freeman. She is survived by her husband Edward Lee Freeman, a son Philip Freeman, 5 sisters: Valerie Harden, Cynthia Taylor, Dorris Jones (Chris), Linda Brown (Melvin) and Shelia Harden; one brother James Harden Jr., two grandsons, JaBraylin Freeman and Luca Freeman, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a very special friend of over 30 years, Ms. Annie Jackson.
