Perry was born on November 27, 1959 to Otha and Mae Bell Moseby in Portland, Arkansas. He attended school in the Portland School District. After residing in Portland and St. Louis, Missouri, his final residence became Jacksonville, Arkansas
Perry enjoyed music, especially blues and spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Moseby passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. He is survived by six children which are four daughters, Lakisha A. Moseby (Leonard) of Jacksonville, AR, Tina Green (Chester) of Sherwood, AR, Terri Mosby (Tony) of St. Louis, MO, Shanae Branch of Little Rock, AR; two sons, Perry Moseby Jr. of Springfield, MO, and Derrick Moseby of Jacksonville, AR; twenty-two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; fourteen siblings which are nine sisters, Kimala Fowler (Trent) of Southhaven, MS, Pearlie Kitchen of Colorado Springs, CO, Tricia Jones of Horn Lake, MS, Shirley Whitehead (Steven) of Walls, MS, Dorothy Capri (Donald) of Colorado Springs, CO, Denise Moseby of Little Rock,, AR, Helen Moseby of Little Rock, AR, Lisa Moseby of Little Rock, AR, Ada Moseby Black (Herman) of Atlanta, GA; five brothers, Roger Moseby of Houston, TX, Henry Moseby of Portland, AR, Nathaniel Moseby of Portland, AR, Tavarves Moseby of Monticello, AR, and Adrian Moseby (Amber) of Russellville, AR.
