Leonia Mccree "Aunt Pete"

Sister Leonia McCree gave her life to Christ at a young age and she was baptized at Liberty Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Douglass Smith. Later she joined St. Andrews of Arkansas City. She then joined Church of Christ in Dermott, AR under the leadership of Bro. William Hines Sr.

In 1969 she married Jesse McCree. Leonia did not have any Biological children, but she did raise L.C. Johnson & James Rucker as her own sons.

Leonia leaves to cherish her loving memories: (Whom she raised) L.C. Johnson (Dermott, AR) and James Rucker (Lake Village, AR); (Two God Children);(One Sister) Annie L. Burkley (Boydell AR.); a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Those who preceded her in death: (Five Brothers) Eddie Ford, Benny Rucker, John H. Rucker, Levi Rucker, & Clearance Rucker: (Three Sisters) Lillie M. More, Martha Rucker, & Lelar Thompson.
