Trotter St. Dermott, AR 71638 Elder Gregory Eichelberger, Officiating Katie was born January 30, 1945 in Flora, Mississippi to the late Josephine and Elijah Brown, Sr. She confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dermott, AR. She departed her earthly home May 2, 2015 at Delta Regional Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Willis was joined in holy matrimony to the late A. J. Willis. She preceded in death by her two sisters, Mildred and Bessie Brown; one brother, Willie Brown. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters; Josephine (Herman) Redmon of Little Rock, AR; Lois (Larry) Manning of Dermott, AR; Sherry Hicks of Eudora, AR. She has one son, Louis Proby of Dermott, and six brothers; Sam (Glory) French of Pontiac, MI, L. V. (Shirley) Williams of Greenville, MS; Elijah Brown of Portland, AR; Wesley Brown of Albuquerque, N.M.; J. C. Brown and Floyd (Peggy) Brown of Little Rock, AR; nine grandchildren: Chris, Michael, Keith, Elbert, Malisha, LaToya, Angel, Wayne, and Louis, Jr.; sixteen great grands and a host of devoted, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends..
