In Loving Memory of Joyce R. Polk -- Home going services held Friday, January 5, 2018 11:00 A.M. First Baptist Church 428 Church Street Wilmot, AR Rev. Albert Fenceroy, Officiating | Rev. William Freeman, Pastor Joyce R. Polk, 72, of Wilmot, AR, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was one of four children of the late Annie Custer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Polk. Mrs. Polk was a foster grandparent at Wilmot Elementary School, a member of the Slack Le Grand Alumni Club an a member of the Amazing Women of Wilmot, AR. Joyce was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church where she served as Program Director of the Missionary Society an a Sunday School teacher. She was a graduate o Slack-LaGrande High School, Class of 1962. Mrs. Polk is survived by one daughter, June C. Henderson of Silver Springs, MA, three brothers, Lloyd Williams (Demetria) of Crossett, AR, John Slack and Carl Williams (Lavern) of Little Rock, AR.
