Carl McCree, Officiating Ms. Martin, 51, was born March 16, 1964 in Lake Village, AR to Thomas and Pearlie Mae Martin. She was a member of the graduating class of 1983 at Lakeside High School, Lake Village, AR. Ms. Martin passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center, West Monroe, LA. Preceded in death by her father, Thomas Martin; her mother , Pearlie Mae Martin, and son, Jermichael Martin, She leaves as survivors: 2 daughters, Alice Culp of Batesville, MS and Simone Hickman of Oak Grove, LA; six sisters, Darlister Cosby, Shirley Cain,and Angie Martin of Batesville, MS, Theresa Martin Abraham of Richmond, VA, Georgia Martin of Monticello, AR, and Tawanda Culp of Lake Village, AR; four brothers, Zack Griffin of Chicago, Earl Griffin of Little Rock, Jerry Martin of Lake Village, and Thomas Martin Jr of Conway, Arkansas. There are also two grandchildren, Takiyah and Kelise. Ms. Martin was laid to rest at the New Cemetery, Lake Village, Arkansas. Services entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home and staff, 830 Saint Mary Street, Lake Village, AR Visitation to family and friends was held Saturday evening March 28, 2015 from 6-7 at the New Hope Baptist Church, East Saint Mary Street, Lake Village, AR..
