William Hines, Officiating Joyce Ann Lewis was born Dec 14, 1957 to the late Bennie Lewis and the late Willie Mae Lewis in Grace Community of Dermott, Arkansas. She accepted Christ in 1970 and became a member of the Church of Christ where she served faithfully until her health failed. Joyce graduated from Dermott High School and continued her education at Great Rivers Vocational School where she received certification in the health care field. She answered God's call on Oct. 2, 2017 at 7:30 pm while a patient at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Those left to celebrate her life and cherish her memory include one sister, Bertha (Richard) Barnes of Dermott; eight brothers, Bennie (Annette) Lewis of Milwaukee, WI; Jackie (Ruby) Lewis of Joliette, IL; Edward (Betty) Lewis of Dermott, AR; Paul Lewis of San Diego, CA; Michael Lewis of Big Springs, TX and Benjamin Lewis of Milwaukee, WI; plus a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
