FRANK "TOOT" BURKLEY, SR.

Funeral Services for Mr. Frank Burkley Sr, 81, of Montrose, AR will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022. Service will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church, North Trotter & Lephew Road, Dermott; Rev. L. C. Barnes, officiating minister. passed away on December 11, 2022 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Frank was born on December 23, 1940 to John and Annie Lee Burkley in Lake Village, Arkansas. He was the baby of four children. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Annie Lee Burkley; a brother, Leroy "Boot" Quitman; two sisters, Brandy Anderson and Bert Brown. He married Willie Lee Brown.

Frank was a member and deacon, for many years, of Evergreen Baptist Church in Boydell, Arkansas. He loved fishing, going to church, hunting, and doing things out in the yard at his home. He was a farmer until he retired. Mr. Burkley passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Arkansas Heart Hospital, Little Rock.

He is survived by his spouse of 60 years, Willie Lee Brown Burkley of Montrose, AR; three daughters, Velda Burkley (Felton) of Dermott, AR, and Irene Burkley of Dermott, AR, Melissa Burkley of Montrose, AR; four sons, Ricky Burkley of Boydell, AR, Frank Burkley Jr. of Dermott, AR, and Joe Burkley of Dermott, AR, and Jackie Lewis of Wilmar, AR; 11 Grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren; two special cousins/brothers, L. C. Johnson and J. D. Thompson, Sr.

Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Boydell, Arkansas. Services entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, 210 North Trotter Street, Dermott.
