Funeral Services for Allen Charles Jordan, 73, of Dermott, AR will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024. Service will be held at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 415 West Iowa Street, Dermott; Rev. Dorian Newhouse, Pastor, Dr. Clarence L. Holman, Officiating.

Allen was born on February 9, 1951 to Roosevelt and Willie Mae Jordan in Jerome, Arkansas. He attended school in the Dermott School District; graduating from Chicot County High School with the class of 1970. After graduation from high school, he attended AM&N College, Pine Bluff from 1970-71. After attending college, he returned home and became co-owner of Jordan Farms in Jerome. He enjoyed farming for many years and was an avid outdoorsman, spending lots of time hunting and fishing.

Allen passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Delta Health System-The Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi. He is survived by five children, Maurion A. Jordan of Pine Bluff, Tyra S Jordan-Gatewood of Tampa, FL, Derrick D. Jordan (Kiplynn) of Bossier City, LA, Titus A. Jordan (Wanda Harris-Jordan) of Jacksonville, AR, and Kelly L. Delph (Eric) of Menifee, AR and three siblings, Thelma Ramsey of Little Rock, AR, Shirley Applegate (Earnest) of Little Rock, AR, and Roosevelt Jordan Jr. He is preceded in death by one daughter Charity M. Jordan, two siblings, Willie Earl Jordan and Lonnie Cowart.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday from 6-7:30 at Dillard Funeral Home, 111 North Freeman Street, Dermott, AR.

Burial will take place at Silver Mount Cemetery, Jerome, Arkansas. Services entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, 111 North Freeman Street, Dermott.
